Francois Wiss is a French-American musician and producer based in New York City.
Born in Paris in 1973, and brought up in a family of musicians, he picked up the guitar at a young age and studied with several maestros such as Terry Fleming, Juan del Gastor, Mathias Berchadski, and Pierre Culaz.
A perpetual learner, Francois Wiss has developed an interest in many different genres of music, from flamenco to psychedelic rock, Latin music, French chanson, and world music in general. All just being an excuse to play, improve, improv, jam, create, take risks, feel, and perhaps experience
for a brief moment a different state of consciousness.
